I hope you are doing as well as is possible at the moment.
I have been in complete lockdown with my family now for one month. Extra time for thinking for sure, with lots of impetus to be pondering the bigger questions. I think much of the world is largely motivated by money. I get it, it’s nice to have nice things. But I chose to be a professional singer, so that in itself is proof that dosh has never been my driving force!
One thing that has been brought home to me during these Corona times, is the importance of the connections between people. Not just friends and family, but people in general.
I talk about that in my diary chat below, which also features an indepth interview with drummer Lloyd G – he talks about his experiences as an Asian coming to Australia at an early age, and how music makes his world go around. https://youtu.be/Eml5XWZEf6Q
I always love seeing your comments so please don’t hesitate to drop me a line if you feel like a chat or even a vent!
All the best,
