Singing with Myself

Hi there,

Happy Easter! Hope it is not too much of a strange one for you.

It’s been almost a month since I last worked! I am definitely missing singing with my fellow musos…Of course, there is nothing stopping me singing per se, so I decided to just have a sing with myself.

I’ve always been a huge fan of harmonies and I’ve been lucky enough to be a backing vocalist for so many fabulous singers and bands, from Wendy Matthews, Marcia Hines, Powderfinger, Vanessa Amorosi, Richard Clapton…and many more. There is something about singing a harmony that really stirs up my endorphins.

So I decided, in lieu of working with other singers, I would make an acapella version of one of my own songs. It is ‘Stolen’ from my Chanteuse album. Here it is, straight after my 15 minute video diary chat. https://youtu.be/gOEexcnbIVw

I really enjoyed putting this together so I might make it a regular thing. Let me know if there is a song you’d like to hear done acapella…And don’t forget, we’re all in this together, so please don’t hesitate to drop me a line if you feel like a chat or even a vent!

All the best,

Amanda
